What has Mark Webber gotten himself into this time?

I still remember when Mark Webber made his debut with the gd old Minardi back in 2001 (I think) at Albert Park... He showed so much promise... driving with the minnows he still managed a respectable 5th. Then he was on pole 2 once and even made it to the podium once in Monaco with Williams - And I thought to myself - here is a driver with some flair... he is not afraid to take risks and I'm sure given a good car he can be up there with the likes of Schumacher and Sena...

And then it all started - it was as if his career had taken a nose-dive. He probably had more DNFs than anyone else on the grid and looks like the trend has continued in 2007 season too.

However, I wonder sometimes if its the car or the driver who is to blame for it? Take this for example - he has probably had the same car as DC in 2007 but somehow he has managed to not finish the race every time? Is it his driving style or the car?
